About Project

Project TeProD (Improving Teachers and Students Professional Development with Twin Transition in Sub-Saharan Africa) ocuses on supporting the knowledge and skills of university teachers and students in the field of green and digital transformation, known as the twin transition. The aim of the project is to develop the competences needed to prepare students for challenges related to sustainability, digitalisation, the use of artificial intelligence in education, and the changing needs of the labour market.

Project TeProD (Improving Teachers and Students Professional Development with Twin Transition in Sub-Saharan Africa)

Main project outputs:

  • modernisation of university curricula in the field of green and digital transformation,
  • development of new and updated courses focused on the twin transition,
  • development of teachers’ and students’ competences in the areas of circular economy, green transformation, digitalisation, pedagogy, and the use of artificial intelligence in education,
  • alignment of study programmes with the needs of the labour market and industry,
  • strengthening cooperation between universities, experts from practice, and other stakeholders.

Project Consortium

Coordinator of the project:  Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland). The project is implemented by the following partners:

  • Technical University of Košice (Slovakia),
  • The University of Ghana (Ghana),
  • The International University of Management (Namibia),
  • University of Education, Winneba (Ghana).
